Wanna edit H.265(HEVC) in Lightworks? This articles explains the best way- converting source H.265 files to ProRes or another edit-friendly format.
More and more hot cameras/camcorders like Canon XF705, Lumix S1, Samsung NX1, Fujifilm X-T4, GoPro Hero 10, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, Lumix GH5 II, Samsung NX500, etc store videos using the outstanding HEVC (H.265) codec. The problem here is, we would love to be able to bring the HEVC (H.265) files into Lightworks directly. But it seems that Lightworks can't handle H.265 codec natively. So, any available way to solve the issue?

4K MXF to Davinci Resolve 17 workflow - 2022
Can't import and edit MXF videos in DaVinci Resolve 17? Try to convert MXF to DaVinci Resolve 17 native video formats to solve this problem. Just keep reading.
MXF is a "container" or "wrapper" format which supports a number of different streams of coded "essence", encoded in any of a variety of video and audio compression formats. Therefore, when it says that Davinci Resolve supports MXF, it doesn't mean that Davinci Resolve 17 support all MXF files. That's why many people can't import MXF files from any camcorder to Davinci Resolve 17 although they saw MXF extension in supported video list.
