URSA can record in the two formats. The first is 12-bit CinemaDNG RAW, the second is Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), a debayered codec for easier playback and editing in a wide range of video editing applications. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to import Blackmagic URSA 4K to Premeire Pro with a smooth workflow. Learn from Adobe official site, I got know that Premiere Pro CC (2015) can support editing and monitoring 4K video, including Canon XF-AVC and Panasonic 4K444 formats. But the point here is, Adobe Premiere Pro old version still uses 1080p as primary delivery format and will continue to do so for a long time. So how to import and edit Blackmagic URSA 4K clips in Premiere Pro smoothly? Searching further online, I was advised to convert and downscale 4K to 1080p from Blackmagic for Premiere Pro before editing.

Actually, it's not so hard to do the trick. Premiere Pro works natively with H.264 Codec, a line of intermediate codecs, intended for using during video editing to help provide an efficient and high performance workflow with impressive image quality and reduced storage rates. With a professional 4K Video Converter- Acrok Video Converter Ultimate for Mac, you can get the work done easily. This software is able to convert CinemaDNG RAW files and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) from BlackMagic Ursa to Premiere Pro (CC, CS6, CS5) fully compatible format and keep original quality at the mean while. It can also export MPEG-2 for Sony Vegas Pro, Apple InterMedaite Codec (AIC) for iMovie/FCE, DNxHD for Avid Media Composer
 for native editing.
